A Letter from Cindy
I did not rip the labels overnight.
For years, I became everything everyone else needed me to be.
I made sure everyone else was okay.
I put everyone else’s needs before my own.
I became known as the strong one…
while quietly forgetting myself.
I kept the peace.
I carried what was never mine to carry.
In many ways, I did.
But quietly, something began to shift.
Some of those labels no longer fit.
Some were never mine to begin with.
So I started writing.
Not for anyone else.
For the first time… just for me.
On quiet mornings, I filled pages with the questions I had never allowed myself to ask and the truths I had never spoken out loud.
Over time, those pages became this journal. A 176-page guided invitation to return to the woman beneath every label, with no timeline and no pressure.
I created Rip the Labels because this journey was never meant to stay mine alone. Somewhere, another woman is carrying the same invisible weight, wondering if she’s the only one.
She isn’t.
None of us are.
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming home to the woman you’ve always been.
